EVWS Calibration — Restoring Pedestrian Alert Sounds in Electric Vehicles Across DFW
We calibrate and verify the Electric Vehicle Warning Sound system to ensure compliance, safety, and OEM functionality. 100% mobile. 90-day labor guarantee.
What Is EVWS and Why Is It Required?
The Electric Vehicle Warning Sound (EVWS) system produces artificial noise at low speeds to alert pedestrians — especially in urban areas, school zones, or crosswalks.
⚠️ It’s required by law for many electric and hybrid vehicles. After a collision or EV repair, the sound module must be recalibrated to ensure proper activation and volume thresholds.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is DFW Safety Restore and what services do you provide?
DFW Safety Restore is a mobile vehicle safety system repair company serving the Dallas–Fort Worth area. We specialize in seat belt repair, airbag module reset, ADAS calibration, pretensioner repair, and more — all performed on-site by professional technicians.
How much do your services cost?
Pricing varies depending on the service. Seat belt repairs start around $99, airbag module resets around $79, and ADAS calibrations typically range from $150–$500 depending on how many clibrations and programing we have to do. We will provide you with a full estimate right after we inspect the vehicle and determine the necessary repairs. There is a $75 fee that is charged at the moment of the booking. That $75 fee will be voided with the purchase of any of our services.
What is an airbag module reset and why do I need it?
After a collision, your airbag control module stores crash data and disables the system. A reset clears this data and restores the airbag system to OEM specs — often saving you hundreds over full replacement.
How do I book a service?
